AMAN Building Corporation is committed to a strong health and safety program that will take all reasonable steps to prevent injury to employees, the client, the public, and to prevent damage to property. We are aware of our responsibility to our employees to make our worksites as safe as possible, but also we recognize the need to protect the general public from potential hazards. To achieve a superior record of safety AMAN complies with Alberta’s Worker’s Compensation Board, Occupational Health & Safety , federal, provincial, local, and industry safety regulations.
Employees at every level are responsible for the company's overall health and safety performance. Management sets example and provides the leadership in the health and safety program, is responsible for supplying the O.H.& S. regulations to all employees. Employees are expected to be familiar with the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (O.H.& S.) legislation as it relates to their work processes, follow all examples and procedures set out by management, and co-operate in working towards improving health and safety measures and conditions at work. Management supports participation in the program by all employees, provides proper equipment, and takes a proactive view on safety by reviewing and providing the necessary training and procedures with the input of field management and workers.
Our goal is a healthy, injury free work place for all employees. By working together in all parts of this program, we can accomplish this goal.
