The Kinosoo Ridge Ski Lodge is comprised of a two storey facility with a building footprint of approximately 8,000 sq. ft. The main level incorporates administration and staff facilities, public spaces including ski rental and repair, multipurpose rooms and locker areas. A small retail space will also be included for the sale of ski related items. The second level contains cafeteria style seating for approximately 250 people as well as outdoor deck seating, and a kitchen area for concession and banquets. The buildilng is designed to maximize passive solar gain and provides many sustainable design concepts from water conserving fixtures and energy efficient electrical components, to an emphasis on long-term durability and ease of maintenance.
