SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - Permanent - Full Time

We are looking for an exceedingly motivated and ambitious Senior Project Manager!
You are a mature, seasoned Project Manager Professional with proven experience and a demonstrable record in the Canadian commercial construction arena.

As a senior Project Manager you will be responsible for direct project management activities, including cost planning, estimating works, identifying and resolving issues and then acting as Project Manager to bring them through to delivery.

Working closely with the Senior Project Management team and Owner, you will develop, deliver, maintain and utilize internal and external client focused relationships. Strong business acumen and relationship management skills will be crucial to successful contribution in developing business expansion and potential growth opportunities.

ESTIMATORS - Permanent - Full Time

Expected Duties (including but not limited to)

· Budget preparation for bids
· Design build and hard-bid estimates
· Quantity surveys
· Material take-off and quotes
· Conduct price analysis
· Bid strategies
· Work with consultants, subcontractors and project managers during the project life cycle
· Attend pre-bid meetings
· Participate in contract negotiations
· Prepare budget analysis
· Act as key contact for subcontractors

Qualifications

· Technical school diploma or university degree in engineering or surveying
· Experience with project delivery methods such as design build, construction management, and general contracting
· Must possess an analytical approach, good communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency with computers is a necessity

SUPERINTENDENT - Permanent - Full Time

Expected Duties (including but not limited to)

· Organize and oversee site operations and the field staff
· Work closely with project managers
· Communicate with clients, subcontractors and architects
· Monitor schedules and budgets
· Implement and enforce safety procedures and standards
· Coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment
· Run and attend site meetings

Qualifications

· Carpentry trade certification or equivalent technical qualifications.
· Minimum 5 years construction experience in a superintendent role, overseeing projects with a value
of $500K-$20M.
· WHMIS training.
· St. John’s Ambulance first aid training.
· Necessary skill set includes having interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.
· An understanding of business codes and OHS policies
· Possess a team attitude, dedication to construction excellence and be career oriented.
